As a Communication Major, a big part of organizing and planning corporate events is to create a press release to get an event or opening known. Here is a press release for Curate Boutique created in my Public Relations class.
During my internship at the Kennedy Heights Arts Center, one of my jobs was to create a PR Plan for the new campaign, Celebrations with heART. It gives clients renting out the facilities the chance to work with one of the five featured artists with Celebrations with heART to entertain their guests with. The client and their guests will do an arts activity of some sort like dance, visual art, or even animation.
Having a schedule for a wedding is essential for an organized, smooth event. Here is Tyler and Shelby's wedding schedule I created. I learned how to design a schedule through my time interning at Funky's Catering.
This Fall semester at UC, I took a Communication Ethics class where we talk amongst the classroom about current events and relate them to ethics. This ethics topic is codes in organizations such as PRSSA.
​When I attended The Ohio University of Lancaster and took Introduction to Communication Theory, the final paper was to write about a theory I learned in class and apply it to a movie or television show. I chose to do my theory on the Expectancy Violations Theory and applied it to the film, "The Seven Year Itch".
